Conroe, Texas – September 23rd, 2012 – The Oakley Big Bass Tour’s sixth stop of the 2012 campaign was held this weekend on Lake Conroe at the 2nd Annual Kelly Jordon Big Bass Classic. Over 350 anglers competed in the two day open big bass event. “Lake Conroe never disappoints,” said Louis Wellen with Oakley Sports Marketing. “Anytime you have multiple 10 pound fish in a single event, it’s a success .” added Wellen.

Anglers competed throughout the event weekend for thousands in hourly cash prizes and a chance at the 2012 Nitro grand prize for the overall largest big bass. Aaron Gunn posted the leading weight on Sunday morning at 10.10 lbs and he was able to hold on to the lead throughout Sunday and take home the championship. Up next is the Jason Williamson Big Bass Classic on Lake Murray.
